Hi, I’m Emma.
I am a visual storyteller, illustrator, artist, teacher and author. I help brands and publishers bring ideas to life through thoughtful hand painted illustrations, specialising in children’s book illustration, licensing and greetings cards. I’ve also written several best selling how to paint books, and taught tens of thousands of students to paint in person and online. All my illustrations are hand painted using traditional materials from my garden studio in East Anglia, England.

With nearly two decades of experience as a professional illustrator, I’ve had the joy of collaborating with clients from around the world, helping them bring their ideas to life through thoughtful, creative design. Nothing is more exciting to me than receiving a brief from a client and the spark of inspiration that it brings. Working with a client to bring their vision to life is one of my greatest joys, and I love working with good people to make beautiful things.
